The imminvest.ro platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) is live, and, in the first hour, 2,500 requests have been submitted by the SMEs who wanted to sign up for the programme, Public Finance Minister Florin Citu announced on his Facebook page.
"Imminvest.ro is live. Over 2,500 requests in the first hour. We have one single major risk - Ciolacu, literally Dragnea's rower, wants to stop this programme either through the voting in Parliament or through motion. It is a programme designed to support capital and private economy. Ciolacu and the PSD [the Social Democratic Party] hate everything that means private economy and they will do everything in their powers to destroy this programme. We won't stop here. Other measures are coming next for everyone," Citu wrote on Tuesday morning, on his social media page.
The National Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium Seized Enterprises (FNGCIMM) published a release on Monday informing that the registration procedure in the IMM Invest Romania programme will be resumed from scratch as of 28 April, 09:00hrs, and all entrepreneurs who will access the application have equal chances.
