The Government approved, on Thursday, the relocation of the main headquarters of the Ministry of Energy to a new office space located on Dacia Boulevard no. 140.
According to a press release from the executive branch, the Bolojan Cabinet amended Article 1, paragraph 3 of Government Decision No. 316/2021 on the organization and functioning of the Ministry of Energy.
"The main headquarters of the Ministry of Energy will be relocated to a new office space located on Dacia Boulevard no. 140, Sector 2, Bucharest, in order to adapt the workspace to the new operational requirements of the institution," the press release states.
According to the government, the new headquarters will allow for more efficient activity, cost optimization and the provision of modern technical conditions for the staff to carry out their work.
"The decision was made in the context of the reorganization of the ministry and the increase in the number of activities carried out," the press release explains.
Currently, the main headquarters of the Ministry of Energy operates in a building at 39-41 Academiei Street.
