'At the proposal of Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the Government began today's meeting with a moment of silence in memory of the legendary coach Mircea Lucescu,' a post on the Executive's Facebook page reads.
Prior to the government meeting, Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan paid his final respects to the great coach Mircea Lucescu.
The head of the Executive went to the catafalque at the National Arena and observed a moment of silence.
Ilie Bolojan offered his condolences to the coach's son, Razvan Lucescu, and to Mircea Lucescu's grandson, both present at the National Arena.
During the day on Thursday, all those who wish may pay their final respects to the great Romanian coach Mircea Lucescu
