Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan has the duty to publicly explain the "reasons" for not financing a project vital to the functioning of an efficient justice system, preferring to spend tens of millions of lei annually on rented premises in Bucharest, says Social Democratic Party's senator Robert Cazanciuc, former Minister of Justice.
"The refusal to finance the Justice District, assumed in the government program that was presented by Mr. Ilie Bolojan to Parliament when he requested a vote of confidence, risks putting Romania in the delicate situation of having an Agreement with the World Bank terminated, due to the failure to fulfill the commitments assumed by law for the financing of this project," Robert Cazanciuc wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
He says that "The odyssey of the District and the requests addressed to the Prime Minister" will be included in an interpellation on this topic that he will present on Wednesday in the Senate's plenary session.
