This governing coalition was created in a very specific context, because we have a duty to pass several reforms, and it will endure as long as everyone understands that we have a responsibility towards Romanians, declared on Tuesday in Parliament, the Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests, Diana Buzoianu.
"I believe that this Coalition was created because we have a duty to pass several reforms. In the area of ??the Ministry of the Environment, we are clearly anchored to adopt reforms. I know many other ministries that do this. Of course, we will not always understand each other and there will be differences of vision, because it is not a natural Coalition, we must admit. It is a Coalition that was created in a very specific context, but this specific context also obliges us to pass reforms. That is the most important thing (...) And I, from the perspective of the Ministry of the Environment, can tell you very clearly that we are prepared with absolutely all the reforms that were assumed in the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan n.r) and we already have drafts and proposals that have even reached the Coalition's table. At this moment, the Ministry of the Environment, for Payment Request number 4 that was transmitted, does not have any reform milestone that is not "It has been fulfilled. This is the ambition for the next milestones as well," said Buzoianu.
According to the dignitary, the Coalition's protocol is public and can be consulted by any person, and the duty of the parties included in it is responsibility towards the Romanians.
"Certainly, we have a protocol that can be read by absolutely anyone. It is public and it says very clearly that all decisions and measures that are taken, that increase expenses without being able to have a consensus in the Coalition, cannot be adopted. At the moment, this is exactly what has happened. But I believe, I repeat, that we have a very big debt to the Romanians and I hope that everyone understands their responsibility. (The Coalition, ed.) will endure as long as everyone understands that we have a greater responsibility than any of the parties that make up this Coalition. This is not about the USR, PNL, UDMR or PSD Government. This is about a Government of Romania. We have a responsibility towards the Romanians. At the moment, Mr. Ilie Bolojan is a prime minister who has shown that he wants to take steps forward, to make certain reforms. Of course, there have also been differences of perspective. "in certain technical points, but it is absolutely normal. We are committed to stability in this Government," the Minister of Environment emphasized.
