HealthMin Tataru: Religious services will be resumed outside churches

The Minister of Health, Nelu Tataru, announced on Thursday evening, after the meeting of the National Committee for Emergency Situations, that the religious services will be resumed, but outside the churches.

Tataru also said that the hotels will be reopened, with the rules to be established by a joint order with the Ministry of Economy.

"Starting with May 15, religious services will resume outside churches. It is a first step to make a further evaluation within 14 days of this measure and to be able in the next stage to allow services to be held in the church as well. These rules that have been evaluated and stated together by the National Institute of Public Health will be in a joint order of the Minister of Health with the Secretariat for Cults. The hotels are reopened and, in this context, we will have a joint order together with the Minister of Economy," said the health minister.
