The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's trading session with all indices in the green and RON 152.99 million (EUR 30.02 million) worth of trades, of which share transactions totalled RON 128.05 million (EUR 25.13 million).
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose 0.85 percent to 28,451.53 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares scored an almost equal advance of 0.84 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.99 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK inched up 1.79 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies advanced 1.87 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG picked up 0.68 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market closed 1.55 percent higher.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Banca Transilvania with RON 44.002 million worth of trading, followed by Energy Company Electrica S.A with RON 32.052 million, and OMV Petrom S.A. with RON 9.648 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Green Tech International S.A. (+8.42 percent), Simtel Team (+6.58 percent), and Electromagnetica S.A. (+6.19 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Rompetrol Rafinare S.A. (-14.80 percent), Energopetrol S.A. (-7.14 percent), and Socep S.A. (-2.44 percent).
