President Nicusor Dan manages to consolidate the profile of a Romania that is respected by all international partners, fact which was confirmed during Thursday's visit in Washington, says EMP Eugen Tomac.
"President Nicusor Dan will always do what is necessary for Romania! The relationship with USA is essential for our country's security, as well as for all the Romanian people, regardless of which side of the Prut they are on. One year ago, Romania was on the verge of unprecedented tensions, everything seemed to be lost. Today, with great sacrifices and wise decisions, Romania has realigned on the direction from which it was never allowed to stray from" Eugen Tomac wrote on Facebook, agerpres reports.
According to the MEP, democracy, freedom, respect for human rights, and a functioning rule of law are the fundamental values that should guide our daily actions.
"President Nicusor Dan is succeeding in strengthening Romania's profile as a country that all its partners respect, as confirmed during yesterday's visit to Washington. Because, indeed, Romanians really are a fantastic people," said Eugen Tomac.
The head of state took part in the Peace Council, initiated by President Donald Trump.
