The Romanian women's national volleyball team qualified for the Golden League Final Four tournament from the first position, after defeating the Croatian team, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-19), on Sunday, in Zadar (Croatia).
Romania sealed its victory after one hour and 12 minutes of playing.
The best players of the team coached by Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez were Adelina Budai-Ungureanu, who scored 15 points, Diana Andreea Ariton, who scored 12 points, Denisa-Stefania Cheluta, who scored 11 points, and Rodica Buterez, who scored 10 points.
Mika Grbavica (13 points) and Ana Istuk (10) stood out from the Croatian team.
Romania qualified for the Final Four tournament, which will take place in Sweden, in Aangelholm, on June 28 and 29, from the first position, with 5 wins (16 points), after the six stages of the competition. The other qualified teams are Ukraine, 5 wins (15 points), Sweden, 5 wins (14 points), and Hungary, 5 wins (13 points).
On June 28, Romania will face Hungary in the semifinals, and Ukraine will meet Sweden.
