Romania won four silver medals at the 9th edition of the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics 2025, which took place this year in Shumen, Bulgaria.
The four students are Boeriu Horia-Andrei, eighth grade, Tudor Vianu National Collegiate High School of Informatics, Bucharest; Nemtisor Andrei, 7th grade, Costache Negruzzi National Collegiate High School of Iasi; Danciu Traian, sixth grade, European School Theoretical High School of Bucharest; Iordache Matei Stefan, ninth grade, International Theoretical High School of Informatics, Bucharest, agerpres reports.
The team was coordinated by the Society for Excellence and Performance in Informatics (SEPI), which selected and trained the team.
