The Ministry of Investments and European Projects (MIPE) has launched a competitive call for projects, worth over 15 million euros, for investments in the infrastructure of public health units that will develop Mental Health Centers for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions, the ministry announced on Wednesday.
According to the cited source, the financing targets new construction, modernization, facilities and medical equipment, agerpres reports.
"Today we launched a competitive call for projects worth over 15 million euros for investments in the infrastructure of public health units that will develop Mental Health Centers for the Prevention and Treatment of Addictions (CSMPTA). At the end of the investments, public health units will be authorized as mental health centers for the prevention and treatment of addictions, contributing to increasing access to specialized services," the press release reads.
Projects can be submitted starting Wednesday, February 25, at 5:00 PM, through the MySMIS2021 system, until May 25, 2026, and after the completion of the investments, the funded units will carry out over 2,300 interventions annually in the field of mental health, the cited source mentions.
