Eight Romanian players advanced to the second round of the W15 Cluj Napoca, Tiriac Foundation Trophy, ITF tournament, prize money USD 15,000, organised by CS Winners Tennis Club, four on Tuesday and four on Wednesday.
Third seed Stefan Palosi, Radu Mihai Papoe (6th), Radu David Turcanu and Mihai Razvan Marinescu got their wins on Wednesday, joining top seed Cezar Cretu, Stefan Adrian Andreescu (5th), Rares Teodor Pieleanu and Cezar Gabriel Papoe.
All the second-round fixtures will feature a Romanian.
