The Ministry of Health reports that all eight patients who were in the new emergency department building at Bagdasar Arseni Hospital, on the rooftop of which a fire broke out on Tuesday morning, were evacuated.
There are no injured people.
"This morning, shortly after 07:00hrs, at the new emergency department building at the Bagdasar Arseni Emergency Clinical Hospital, a fire broke out on the rooftop. All eight patients who were in the building were immediately evacuated to safety. Action is being taken to contain and extinguish the fire."
The Ministry of Health mentions that it is in contact with the management of the healthcare facility for immediate provision of support when needed.
