The swearing-in of the new Government members "ends a period of instability and interim positions", Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan said on Monday at the Cotroceni Palace.
"The conclusion of the parliamentary procedure and the swearing-in of the new Government practically ends a period of instability and interim positions at the helm of Romania's main institutions. We currently have a Government that is based on a significant parliamentary majority. Starting this evening, we will show the measure of our dedication, our work capacity and our responsibility in the service of Romania", the prime minister said after the official ceremony.
He stressed the importance of political support.
"I am confident that, in collaboration with the President of Romania, with support in Parliament, we will be able to get our country through this difficult period, in such a way as to create conditions for prosperity and restore the confidence of Romanians. Together with my colleagues, we will do everything possible for this and I hope that we will hear good things for Romania", said Ilie Bolojan.
