The volume of construction works increased in the first four months of this year by 6.9% in gross series, and by 8.5% in seasonally and working-day adjusted series, compared to the same period in 2024, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), released Thursday to AGERPRES.
In April 2025, the volume of construction works rose compared to March 2025 by 5.8% in gross terms, and by 2.0% in adjusted terms (considering working days and seasonality).
However, compared to the same month in 2024, the volume of construction works declined by 0.5% in gross series, and by 2.8% in adjusted series.
