Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closes higher Tuesday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session higher on most indices, with total trading of 117.775 million lei (23.110 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.72%, up to 24,438.89 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with an increase of 0.70%, agerpres reports.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.68%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, gained 0.50%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.67%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 0.31%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 0.06%.

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 19.628 million lei, followed by Romgaz shares - 17.252 million lei, and OMV Petrom shares - 13.836 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by Energopetrol shares (+12.16%), Prebet (+11.59%) and AETA (+6.03%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by COMCM shares (-9.47%), UAMT (-9.24%) and Comelf (-8%).
