The Lufthansa strike leads to several flights being cancelled at airports in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca

The strike at Lufthansa has led to the cancellation of several flights to and from the airports in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, according to information collected by AGERPRES.

Three flights to Frankfurt were cancelled on Wednesday from Henri Coanda International Airport, and one to Munich.

Two flights to Munich were cancelled from Avram Iancu International Airport. There were also cancellations affecting arrivals, namely flights from Munich to Bucharest that had been scheduled for Wednesday.

Flights scheduled to depart on Thursday from Cluj-Napoca airport have also been cancelled.

Two Munich-Cluj-Napoca flights scheduled for Thursday have also been cancelled.

Passengers of the German airline Lufthansa will face further disruption, as cabin crew have launched a new two-day strike, DPA reported on Wednesday. Around 20,000 flight attendants from Lufthansa and its regional subsidiary Lufthansa CityLine have been on strike since midnight.
