All regions will be affected, starting Thursday morning, by an advisory for strong winds and moderate rainfall, while in the mountains, at high altitudes, there will be snowfall.
According to the National Meteorological Administration (ANM), during the period 2 April, 06:00 - 4 April, 18:00, there will be temporary intensifications of the wind, especially on Thursday in the south and south-east of the Romania and isolated elsewhere, and on Friday in western areas.
From Friday night until Saturday evening, in the eastern regions, the wind will generally blow at speeds of 40 - 50 km/h, while in the mountains there will be gusts of 70 - 80 km/h.
The specialist forecast shows that, starting from Thursday morning, there will be moderate rainfall across most of the country, mainly in the form of showers. On Friday and Saturday, these will be isolatedly accompanied by thunderstorms and there will be conditions for hail.
By the end of the interval, water quantities of 20 - 25 l/sq m will accumulate and, in isolated areas, 50 - 70 l/sq m. In the Southern Carpathians, from Friday night into Saturday, and in the Eastern Carpathians above 1,800 metres altitude, there will temporarily be snowfall and a snow layer will form, with an average thickness of 10 - 20 cm.
In Bucharest as well, the weather will be overcast and it will rain over the coming days.
Thus, until Friday morning, rainfall will be moderate (10 - 15 l/sq m), and the wind will intensify during the day, reaching speeds of 40 - 45 km/h, then becoming light to moderate. The maximum temperature, decreasing compared to the previous day, will be 11 - 12 degrees, and the minimum will be around 7 degrees.
According to meteorologists, during the interval 3 April, 09:00 - 4 April, 09:00, the sky will be mostly cloudy and it will rain, especially in the form of showers (2 - 5 l/sq m). The wind will blow light to moderate. The maximum temperature, slightly higher than the previous day, will be around 15 degrees, and the minimum between 6 and 8 degrees.
At the same time, on Saturday, 4 April, between 09:00 and 18:00, the sky will remain temporarily cloudy and there will be showers, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms. The wind intensity will be light to moderate. The maximum temperature will reach 16 degrees.
