The ski slopes at Transalpina-Voineasa are reopening this weekend, with all facilities set to operate until after Easter, when the winter season will officially close.

Due to the snowfall in recent days, the area has excellent skiing conditions, so the administrators of the area have announced that they are reopening the slopes for another ten days, so that winter sports lovers can enjoy the snow during the Easter holidays.

"On Friday morning, we reopen the ski area, after a few days of being closed, and it will remain open until April 13, the second day of Easter. It snowed in the area the past few days, and the snow layer is consistent. At the base it is a little lower, but in the upper part it exceeds one meter. These will be the last ten days of skiing this season, which we will not extend, as the costs are quite high," said the area's administrator, Adrian Iepure.

The operating schedule of the transport facilities during this period will be daily, starting with 9:00 and until 16:30, with the exception of Saturday, April 4, when it will be extended until 17:00.
