President Klaus Iohannis laid a wreath on Monday at Prince Alexandru Ioan Cuza Monument in the courtyard of the King Ferdinand I National Military Museum, Agerpres reports.
The military ceremony was followed by the opening of the exhibition "The Romanian Army in the time of Prince Alessandru Joan 1".
On Monday morning, the head of state participated in the Battle Flag Decoration Ceremony of the 282nd Armored Brigade "Unirea Principatelor" [Unification of Principalities], of the 8th Operational Tactical Missile Brigade "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" and of the 284th Tank Battalion "Cuza Voda", at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Carol I Park, Bucharest.
