Prime Minister Viorica Dancila Tuesday decided to set up the Working Group for the negotiation of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Romania and the People's Republic of China project on the cooperation for the implementation of the Units 3 and 4 of the Cernavoda nuclear-power plant.
According to the decision published on Tuesday in the Official Gazette, the leadership of the Working Group will be assured by a Deputy Prime Minister acting as the President of the Forum and the members will be selected from the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Public Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Labor and Social Justice, the Ministry of Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Waters and Forests, the Internal Affairs Ministry, the National Commission for the Control of Nuclear Activities (CNCAN), the Competition Council, Nuclear and Radioactive Waste Agency (ANDR), the National Regulatory Authority for Energy (ANRE).
According to the Decision, the Working Group has as main objective "negotiating and establishing a joint position of the Romanian party in the negotiations of the Intergovernmental Agreement between Romania and the People's Republic of China project on the cooperation for the implementation of the Units 3 and 4 of the Cernavoda power plant.
