Prime Minister Bolojan specified that the main topics he will discuss with the European officials during his visit this week to Brussels will have to do with the launch of the EastInvest mechanism, the multiannual financial framework and the absorption of funds under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
"In Brussels, we intend to discuss aspects related to the programme that the European Union has developed for the countries situated at EU's eastern border. So, this programme, means additional funding for the regions of our country that are bordering Ukraine or the Black Sea. Moreover, we are going to discuss several aspects related to the forthcoming multiannul financial framework and the absorption of EU funds under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, and we are also going to have advanced discussions regarding the milestones and disbursements, so that by the end of August to be able to absorb European funds meant for Romania," Ilie Bolojan stated on Tuesday evening, when he held a press conference at the Victoria Palace.
