Most indices on the Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Thursday's trading session in positive territory

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session higher across most indices, with total turnover reaching RON 44.61 million (EUR 8.75 million), of which share transactions accounted for RON 32.66 million (EUR 6.41 million).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which tracks the 20 most traded companies on the regulated market, edged up by 0.09% to 28,477.53 points. Meanwhile, BET-Plus, reflecting the performance of the 43 most liquid shares, rose by 0.10%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, comprising the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.05%, while the financial investment companies index, BET-FI, declined by 0.35%.

The BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment fund returns, closed down 0.09%, whereas BET-NG, which tracks the ten energy and utilities companies, increased by 0.09%.

At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies listed on the AeRO market, advanced by 0.07%.

The most traded stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions worth RON 6.73 million, followed by OMV Petrom (RON 4.35 million) and Digi Communications (RON 3.48 million).

The best-performing shares were Comelf (+6.83%), Sinteza (+5.86%) and AAGES (+4.02%).

On the downside, the steepest declines were recorded by Energopetrol (-13.85%), Electroaparataj (-11.11%) and Casa de Bucovina-Club de Munte (-14.07%).
