The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened higher on Friday, after the first 40 minutes of trading.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the twenty most liquid companies, was up 0.34%, and the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the forty-three most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded an increase of 0.33%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, comprising the twenty-five most liquid securities, recorded an increase of 0.29%, while the investment funds' benchmark index BET-BK also rose 0.29%.
The BET-FI index of the SIFs was down 0.16%, while BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, went up 0.38%.
According to the BVB data the biggest increases in share prices were recorded by Promateris (+6.52%), Condmag (+4%) and Fondul Deschis de Investitii Globinvest Energy&financials ETF (+3.17%).
On the other hand the shares of Sinteza (-3.53%), Romcab (-3.47%) and Altur (-3.20%) were down.
