The Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) and Commander of the United States European Command (USEUCOM), Alexus G. Grynkewich, will pay a working visit on Tuesday to the Getica Joint National Training Centre in Cincu and to the Multinational Corps South-East Command (HQ MNC-SE) in Sibiu, together with Gheorghita Vlad, Chief of the Defence Staff.
According to the Ministry of National Defence (MApN), the visit by the two military leaders underscores the firm commitment of Romania and NATO to strengthening regional security and reinforcing the Alliance's deterrence and defence posture on its south-eastern flank, agerpres reports.
General Gheorghita Vlad and General Alexus G. Grynkewich will deliver press statements at the HQ MNC-SE headquarters in Sibiu starting at 11:00, followed by a question-and-answer session.
