Romania and Poland remain reliable partners and allies within NATO and the EU, Romania's President Nicusor Dan said on Thursday.
The head of state was visiting Warsaw at the invitation of his Polish counterpart, Karol Nawrocki.
"We had excellent discussions and reaffirmed the solid Strategic Partnership between our nations. In a complex global context, unity within NATO and EU, and strengthening the Eastern Flank are vital for our shared security and for all of Europe," Dan wrote in a social media post.
He added that the two countries will continue to work together toward their common goals in EU affairs.
Dan mentioned that on March 3 the two countries celebrated the Day of Romanian-Polish Solidarity.
