Over 14.471 million lei was received by political parties in January in subsidies from the state budget, and the largest amounts went to PSD, AUR and PNL.
The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) transmitted on Wednesday the value of subsidies allocated from the state budget and transferred to the account of each political party in January 2026.
PSD received the amount of 4,801,515 lei, PNL - 2,614,110 lei, USR - 1,855,474 lei, AUR - 2,839,211 lei, People Movement Party - 67,932 lei, Force of Right - 64,505 lei, S.O.S. Romania - 1,234,237 lei, POT - 994,491 lei.
In total, 14,471,475 lei was allocated from the state budget to subsidize political parties, and the amounts were transferred to accounts on January 13.
