The University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, in partnership with the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce, will organise on 21 January the first edition of POLI4INCLUSION, an event dedicated to promoting equal access to education and the role of technology in building a more inclusive society.
The event will bring together the POLITEHNICA Bucharest community, professors and students, alongside public authorities, representatives of civil society and the business environment, for an open dialogue on inclusion as a shared responsibility and on ways in which educational environments can become more accessible and equitable for people, the organisers said.
"POLI4INCLUSION reflects our university's strategic commitment to developing an accessible, digitalised and inclusion-oriented campus and fits within the context of national and European policies on equal opportunities, social inclusion and responsible digital transformation. It proposes a space for dialogue between education, research, public authorities and the business sector, aimed at identifying sustainable and scalable solutions," university representatives announced on the institution's website.
