National chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Florin Citu said on Monday that the finance minister will attend a meeting of the governing coalition to unveil a version of the state budget for next year, adding that the most important thing is for them to keep their commitments to Romanians, to the European Commission and to institutional investors, agerpres reports.
"Today, we have to have in the coalition the first discussion on the budget; the finance minister will come before the coalition and unveil, I think, a version of the budget. We will see there how all the projects are financed. But to us it is important what we discuss today, what we discussed every time, also when drawing up the government agenda: keeping our commitments to Romanians, first and foremost, to the European Commission and to institutional investors. Romania has entered a correction course that corrects some of its past slippages, with an economy that relies more on investment, which has shown that it has more easily got through the crisis by following this paradigm. It is the thing that we care about and that we will continue to set as priorities," said Citu.
