Prime Minister Viorica Dancila, Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Fifor and MEP Rovana Plumb are present, on Sunday, in Targoviste, on the feast of Saint Niphon, Patriarch of Constantinople.
Thousands of believers came to the service officiated by the archbishop and metropolitan of Targoviste, Nifon. People have arrived since the early hours of the morning at the Metropolitan Cathedral in Targoviste.
The events started on Saturday evening with a pilgrimage of young people in the center of Targoviste. On Sunday, the religious servicehas taken place, and then the archbishop and Metropolitan of Targoviste, Nifon, addressed the participants.
Moreover, several volumes of the Targovistei Archdiocese Publishing House will be launched and diplomas of excellence will be awarded to the winners of the National Contests and Olympiads, as well as to the teachers who guided them.
Before attending the religious service at the Metropolitan Cathedral, Prime Minister Dancila was at the seat of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) Dambovita. In front of the headquarters she met with members and supporters of the party, who asked her "not to leave the PSD".
