The measures in the governance programme are pro-business and contribute to Romania's development, PM Mihai Tudose writes in a post published on his Facebook page on Sunday.
"The hundred thousands new jobs created this year and one of the lowest unemployment rates in the European Union, 4.14 percent in September (according to ANOFM - the National Employment Agency, e.n.), are clear proof that the measures in the governance programme are pro-business and contribute to Romania's development. There are measures that have in view the creation of a healthy business environment and providing facilities to investors, and a healthy economy cannot be designed outside this principle," Mihai Tudose says.
He invokes an annual chart made by Ziarul Financiar, according to which the 100 most valuable companies in Romania have been evaluated at 72.5 billion euro, making from 2017 the best year for local business and the most prolific over the last decade.
"This is reality, in fact, and not the one imagined by some trade unionists who hear voices about the collapse of the economy, while Romania registers the highest economic growth in the EU," Tudose shows.
He also points out that several companies - big employers have announced they will take over the employers' contributions and increase salaries, which stands proof that the transfer of the fiscal burden is an opportunity which entrepreneurs have to make loyalty programmes for their employees.
"We thus remain consistent with our priorities in the governance programme and take measures to increase the standard of living for Romanians," the PM concludes.
