The Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) informs that, between November 11 and 15, as many as 30 training sessions were organized in videoconference system for the persons to be appointed as presidents of the electoral bureaus of the polling stations abroad, their deputies or members of polling stations abroad.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Monday, 2,354 people from 74 countries participated in these training sessions, including: South Africa, Australia, Afghanistan, Canada, Czech Republic, Chile, China, Cyprus, Colombia, Croatia, Denmark, Egypt, Switzerland, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Norway, New Zealand, Netherlands, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, United Kingdom, the Republic of Korea, Spain, USA, Sweden, Hungary, Uruguay and Vietnam.
The training sessions were organized by the Special Telecommunications Service, the Permanent Electoral Authority and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
AEP announces that similar sessions will take place in the next period.
