Hydrologists have issued an orange flood warning for rivers in five counties, valid from Friday morning until Saturday, given current hydrometeorological conditions and the forecast for the next 48 hours.
According to the National Institute of Hydrology and Water Management (INHGA), between April 3, 09:00 and April 4, 12:00, water levels may exceed warning thresholds on the following rivers: Bistrita, Moldova and Miletin (a tributary of the Jijia).
At the same time, a yellow warning has been issued for the period April 2, 18:00 to April 4, 24:00, affecting rivers including: Desnatui, Motru, Jiu, Olt, Ramnicu Sarat, Putna, Barlad, Trotus, Moldova, Bistrita, Suceava, Siret and Jijia.
