The Association for the Promotion of Tourism in Oradea and the Environs (APTOR - Visit Oradea) is promoting, January 16 -18, the Oradea destination at Ferien-Messe Wien 2026, the most important international tourism fair in Austria.
"Participating in Ferien-Messe Wien is a natural and necessary step for Visit Oradea. It is an important market for urban and spa tourism, and the constant presence at such events allows us to do our duty to promote Oradea as an attractive and competitive destination. We are glad to be back in Vienna and to present the tourist offer of our city for 2026, along with the counties of Timis, Arad and Sibiu," APTOR quoted general manager of Visit Oradea Alexandru Chiraas saying in a press statement on Friday.
At the Romanian Ferien-Messe Wien stand, Oradea is joined by Visit Timis, HORETIM, Arad County Council and Visit Sibiu, in a joint effort to strengthen the visibility of Romanian urban destinations on the Austrian market.
Visit Oradea presents the city's tourist offer for 2026, focusing on the Art Nouveau architectural heritage, urban experiences, cultural agenda and major events of the city. Visitors can find promotional materials, magazines and presentation pamphlets so that those interested can keep a part of the history of Oradea and discover the city more easily as a city break destination.
By participating in Ferien-Messe Wien 2026, Visit Oradea supports the development of local tourism and the promotion of the city on international markets, contributing to increasing the visibility of the city as a top destination for city breaks in Central Europe.
Ferien-Messe Wien is the most important tourism fair in Austria and a landmark for the industry in Central Europe, bringing together exhibitors from all over the world every year.
This year, between January 15 and 18, the fair brings together over 430 exhibitors from over 70 countries, on five continents, and attracts more than 71,000 visitors, including individual tourists, travel agencies, journalists and industry professionals.
