The National Audiovisual Council (CNA) decided on Tuesday to withdraw the license for the television station Realitatea Plus for non-payment of fines applied between January 2024 and September 2025.
The same decision was made in the case of Gold FM.
''Convened in public meeting on 07.04.2026, the National Audiovisual Council analyzed the situation of the broadcasters that did not submit proof of payment of the fines applied between January 2024 and September 2025. Pursuant to the provisions of art. 57 para. (1) letter d) of the Audiovisual Law no. 504/2002, according to which: 'The analogue audiovisual license is withdrawn by the Council in the following situations: (...) d) the holder does not submit to the Council, within 6 months from the date of application of a fine, proof of its payment', the Council decided to withdraw the audiovisual licenses held by the companies PHG MEDIA-INVEST S.R.L (for Realitatea Plus) and ANGUS RESOURCES S.R.L. (for Gold FM)'', reads a press release sent to AGERPRES by the CNA.
