The Ministry of Education and Research stated on Tuesday that there will be no problems until the end of this year in terms of covering the amounts for the payment of salaries and scholarships, despite the austerity measures recently implemented to control the fiscal-budgetary crisis.
"Following recurring statements in the public space, the Ministry of Education and Research specifies that, despite the austerity measures recently implemented to control the fiscal-budgetary crisis, there will be no problems until the end of this year in terms of covering the amounts for the payment of salaries and scholarships," a press release states.
According to the Ministry of Education and Research, once the "austerity-crisis" measures are adopted, the education-research system will have to enter a logic of stability and development.
"As the Minister of Education and Research has repeatedly stated, once these austerity-crisis measures are adopted, the education-research system will have to enter a logic of stability and development," the press release also reads.
