JusMin Toader meets UK Ambassador in Bucharest Noble

Justice Minister Tudorel Toader met with Ambassador of the UK in Bucharest Andrew Noble, with the meeting being carried out in the context of Romania taking over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, during the period when the UK withdraws from the EU. 

"The meeting was carried out in the context of Romania taking over the Presidency of the Council of the EU, in the first semester of 2019, period during which the UK will withdraw from the EU. The discussions agenda included aspects related to the stage of the bilateral cooperation in the justice area, but also the planing for Romania's takeover of the Presidency of the EU Council. The meeting represented a good opportunity to strengthen the cooperation relations and voice the shared wish to continue the good collaboration between the two states," a release published on the Justice Ministry website informs. 

The meeting that was carried out on Wednesday was also attended by Senior Political Adviser with the UK Embassy to Romania Irina Costache.
