"At present, according to the official data I have, there are approximately 5,400 homes in our country that are not connected to the electricity grid. We have received a very detailed proposal from an NGO to set up a national program of photovoltaic panels with storage for these 5,000 homes. We are currently conducting a feasibility study on this project to determine the actual needs, and I don't want to say anything before it happens. But I hope that, within a reasonable time frame, a year or a year and a half, no home in Romania will be deprived of access to electricity," said the minister.
