The Ministry of Health completed an open tender procedure and awarded the contract for the implementation of a strategic, integrated IT system aimed at digitalising the institution's activities, within "Digital transformation of the Ministry of Health" project, financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete announced on Friday, informs Agerpres.
According to him, the contract is valued at 34.56 million lei, with an implementation period of six months, running until the end of June.
The project's main objective is to increase administrative efficiency, transparency and the quality of public services provided.
Internal institutional workflows will be digitalised, an e-government portal will be developed for online interaction with citizens and the business environment, and financial, human resources and public procurement processes will be modernized.
"Through this project, we enter the final stage of digitalising the Ministry of Health through the PNRR, an essential step towards a more efficient, predictable and citizen-oriented public system," the minister wrote on his Facebook page.
