The total number of people hospitalised with COVID-19 in Romania's specialist healthcare facilities is 5,864, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force, informed on Friday.
As many as 301 patients are in intensive care.
In Romania, 845 people confirmed with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 1,420 in institutional isolation.
Also, 6,810 people are quarantining at home and 39 people are in institutional quarantine.
