The National Anti-Corruption Directorate (DNA) on Wednesday ordered a continuation in the criminal prosecution of several defendants, including Chairman of the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) Gelu Stefan Diaconu and his deputy Mihai Gogancea-Vatasoiu in a case in which MPs Madalin Vociu and Nicolae Paun are investigated.
The two are prosecuted for aiding and abetting and abuse of office with procurement of ill-gotten gains for self or others, DNA reported in press statement on Wednesday.
Eight more persons are being investigated in the same case for corruption. AGERPRES
