The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session higher, with turnover amounting to 10.8 million lei (2.1 million euros) 30 minutes after the start of trading, according to Agerpres.
The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 2.24%, while the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, registered a rise of 2.19%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 2.16%, while the benchmark for the performance of investment funds, BET-BK, advanced 2.19%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment companies recorded an increase of 0.95%, while BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, registered a rise of 1.87%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was up 0.52%.
According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share prices were recorded by TTS (+5.83%), Energopetrol Company (+5.69%) and Patria Bank (+5.38%).
On the other hand, shares in Rompetrol Rafinare (-7.40%), Sinteza (-3.54%) and Bermas (-2.62%) were declining.
