The number of the deregistered companies dropped at the end of November 2018 by 0.93pct as compared to the similar period of 2017, reaching 73,088, the data of the National Trade Register Office (ONRC) inform.
Most of the removals from the ONRC were recorded in Bucharest (11,739 companies), by 2.53pct less than in the first 11 months of 2017, seconded by the counties of Cluj (3,468, plus 7.3pct), Timis (2,894, plus 2.19pct), and Iasi (2,875, minus 14.05pct).
At the opposite end, the fewest deregistrations were seen in the counties of Covasna (541, down by 13.02pct against the similar period of 2017), Ialomita (553, plus 10.16pct) and Calarasi (565, minus 27.93pct).
The most significant increase in the number of ONRC deregistrations was recorded in the counties of Giurgiu (36.49pct), Dambovita (32.89pct) and Ilfov (22.02pct).
As regards the fields of activity, the highest number of deregistrations was noticed in the wholesale and retail trade, the repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (20,554, plus 7.71pct), as compared to the first 11 months of 2017, in agriculture, forestry and fishing (7,922, plus 28.19pct), professional, scientific and technical activities (6,002, plus 3.61pct) and in constructions (6,001, plus 3.72pct).
November saw 7,457 deregistered companies, most of which in Bucharest (1,293) and in the counties of Cluj (656) and Constanta (280).
