Romanian tennis player Mihaela Buzarnescu on Thursday qualified for the quarterfinals of the ITF tournament in Toyota (Japan), equipped with total prizes worth 60,000 US dollars, after defeating Japanese Rika Sawayanagi, 6-2, 6-1.
Buzarnescu (29, WTA's 68th), the top seed of the tournament, only needed 55 minutes to pass the 23 aged Japanese, world's 302nd.
The Romanian player scored 5 aces in this match and transformed all the four break balls she had, while her opponent had none.
