PSD leader Liviu Dragnea said on Monday that the parliamentary majority in the Chamber of Deputies will be tested at the first vote that will be given in plenary sitting, saying it further exists "without any problem".
"The majority in the Chamber of Deputies will be seen at the first vote, so that we can talk rigorously. The majority in Parliament further exists without any problems," said Liviu Dragnea according to Agerpres.
Asked if he is also negotiating with other parties, UDMR or the minorities, the speaker of the Chamber said: "No, we work and do exactly as we have done so far."
As for the statements made at PSD's CExN meeting on Pro Romania, Liviu Dragnea explained: "I did not say that [Pro Romania] is the new UNPR [National Union for Romania's Progress, ed.n.], talk to your sources to be more rigorous. I said that Pro Romania is conceived by the same people who conceived UNPR, but nothing more. I do not want to make a comparison with UNPR because I would offend the colleagues in UNPR."
