The Minister of Labor and Social Solidarity, Marius Budai, wrote on Facebook, on the occasion of World Social Work Day, that we are crossing another complicated period, one where social workers are once again in the first line, for supporting the war-fleeing Ukrainian citizens, Agerpres reports.
He sent all social workers his appreciation and recognition for the special efforts that they are doing every day in the service of the people.
"After two years of pandemic, where social workers were forced to temporarily give up their family life in order to help those that were dependent on them, we are crossing another complicated period, where social workers are once again in the first line, for supporting Ukrainian citizens that are fleeing from the war. Happy anniversary, dear colleagues, and thank you all for your efforts!" Budai also noted.
