The Senate rejected on Monday the simple motion filed by the Opposition against Foreign Minister Oana Toiu, by a vote of 59 to 44 and one abstention.
Minister Toiu did not attend the debate, as she was in Brussels for the Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was represented in the Chamber by Secretary of State Clara Volintiru.
