The Senate rejected on Monday, the simple motion against the Minister of Defense Radu Miruta.
There were 44 votes in favor and 73 against.
Entitled "Progressive Minister Radu Miruta compromises the credibility of Romania's defense policy through irresponsible statements and lack of strategic analysis", the motion, announced during the parliamentary recess and submitted last week to the Senate, was signed by 41 parliamentarians (28 AUR senators and 13 PACE - Romania First ones).
