Secretary of State with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) Dan Neculaescu on Tuesday had a meeting with the assistant minister for legal and consular affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Frano Plainic, who is currently paying a visit to Bucharest, for a round of negotiations on the update of the bilateral legal framework, reads a release of MAE to AGERPRES.
During the meeting the two officials reviewed the current status of bilateral relations and discussed about strengthening them in political and economic terms.
The Romanian Secretary of State reiterated Romania's support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European track, as well as our country's readiness to grant specialized assistance in this respect.
Moreover, he encouraged the continuation of the implementation of the reform agenda, especially in the context of the desideratum of the authorities in Sarajevo to obtained the status of a candidate for EU accession in the close future, specified the Romanian MAE.
