The female junior team of Romania grabbed the bronze medals on Sunday in the 34th edition of the World Mountain Running Championship in Canillo (Andorra), says the Romanian Athletics Federation website.
In the individual, Alexia Hecico ranked 6th (45 min 22 sec), Angelica Olenici placed herself on 11 (46 min 47 sec), Loredana Viziteu ranked 12th in 47 min 01 sec, while Irina Bordeianu finished 18th in 48 min 21 sec.
Our country's male junior team finished 4th, and in the individual, Gabriel Bularda ranked 5th (39 min 54 sec), Peter Herman 14th (41 min 03 sec), Adrian Garcea was 19th (41 min 38 sec), and Marius Turcu finished on 21st (42 min 02 sec).
As many as 311 athletes of 39 countries competed in Canillo.
